This community is for announcing conventions all over the world that people are welcome to attend, be it a fandom convention, a computer convention, or what.
Rules:
1) One post per month per convention, please. Exceptions will be made for large-scale conventions that have multiple key dates in a single month (IE: 5 May: Hotel block opens. 15 May: convention registration opens. 30 May: event registration opens.)
2) Tag your entries please. (To suggest a tag, go here.)
3) Use cuts when appropriate.
4) Keep graphics outside of cuts appropriate for persons under the age of 18.
5) If your post contains not safe for work or adult content, mark it accordingly with both tags and a content filter option.
6) Your community administrators cannot be everywhere at once and cannot hope to keep up with all the comments. If someone's being inexcusably rude, abusive, etc., send a maintainer a private message.
